Black-figure lekythos of Attic manufacture, dating to 490-480 B.C.,
now in the National Archaeological Museum, Athens. The scene shows a
group of Sileni, dancing around a representation of the god Dionysus
in the shape of a phallus. On the background a vine plant with grapes,
suggesting the relationship of Dionysus with vegetation and viticulture.
