Composite picture painted on the curved surface of a stalactite. The representation shows the lower part of a female body, partially superimposed upon a bison profile, the foreleg of the animal corresponding to one of the woman’s legs. On the other side appears the picture of a feline, possibly a lion, on the back of which the female figure seems to rest (Chauvet cave, Ardèche, France, 33/30,000 years B.P.).
