Sculptures on the wall of the rock shelter known as the “Roc-aux-Sorciers” (Rock of the Sorcerers), near the town of Angles-sur-l’Anglin (Vienne, France). The engravings are attributed to the Magdalenian period (about 14,000 years B.P.). The figures represent female bodies, in which the sexual attributes are particularly emphasized, recalling woman’s generative function, and are placed beside depictions of animals.
