A
scene engraved on the wall of the cave of the Trois-Frères (Ariège,France),
generally interpreted as the representation of a bison-masked dancer,
playing a musical instrument that could be a flute. In this case, too,
one could recognize a shamanic ritual for the calling of the game, since
the figure is inserted in a large composition in which several animals
seem to turn around it. |
